Materials Types we use.

PLA (Polylactic Acid)

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

  • Properties: Biodegradable, easy to print, low warping.
  • Uses: Prototyping, hobbyist prints, educational projects.
  • Strengths: Good surface finish, low cost, wide color range.
  • Limitations: Lower heat resistance, not very durable.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

 Properties: Strong, durable, impact-resistant.

  • Uses: Functional prototypes, automotive parts, toys.
  • Strengths: High impact resistance, good heat resistance.
  • Limitations: High warping, requires a heated bed, emits fumes during printing.

ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate)

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

 Properties: UV resistant, strong, weather-resistant.

  • Uses: Outdoor applications, automotive parts, functional prototypes.
  • Strengths: High weather and UV resistance, good impact strength.
  • Limitations: Similar printing challenges to ABS (warping, fumes).

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

 Properties: Durable, chemically resistant, food-safe.

  • Uses: Mechanical parts, food containers, electronics enclosures.
  • Strengths: Good layer adhesion, minimal warping, transparent options.
  • Limitations: Prone to stringing, requires careful bed adhesion.

CF (Carbon Fiber)

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

PP (Polypropylene)

Properties: Reinforced with carbon fibers, strong, stiff.

  • Uses: High-strength parts, aerospace, automotive.
  • Strengths: Excellent strength-to-weight ratio, low warping.
  • Limitations: Abrasive to nozzles, requires a hardened steel nozzle.

PP (Polypropylene)

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

PP (Polypropylene)

 Properties: Flexible, lightweight, chemical-resistant.

  • Uses: Living hinges, storage containers, automotive parts.
  • Strengths: High flexibility, good chemical resistance, food-safe.
  • Limitations: Difficult to print, warping issues, poor bed adhesion.

PE (Polyethylene)

PCPTFE (PolyCARBONATE/POLYTETRAFLOUROETHYLENE)

PCPTFE (PolyCARBONATE/POLYTETRAFLOUROETHYLENE)

Properties: Very flexible, chemical-resistant, waxy feel.

  • Uses: Flexible parts, containers, food packaging.
  • Strengths: Excellent flexibility, low friction, food-safe.
  • Limitations: Challenging to print, poor layer adhesion, low melting point.

PCPTFE (PolyCARBONATE/POLYTETRAFLOUROETHYLENE)

PCPTFE (PolyCARBONATE/POLYTETRAFLOUROETHYLENE)

PCPTFE (PolyCARBONATE/POLYTETRAFLOUROETHYLENE)

Properties: Very flexible, chemical-resistant, waxy feel.

  • Uses: Industrial applications, chemical processing equipment.
  • Strengths: Excellent flexibility, low friction, chemical resistance suitable for aggressive chemical environments.
  • Limitations: Challenging to print, good layer adhesion, high melting point.

Polycarbonate

PCPTFE (PolyCARBONATE/POLYTETRAFLOUROETHYLENE)

Polycarbonate

 Properties: Rigid, chemical-resistant

  • Uses: Industrial applications, chemical processing equipment.
  • Strengths: Excellent rigidity, high temperature resistance, chemical resistance suitable for aggressive chemical environments.
  • Limitations: Challenging to print, good layer adhesion, high melting point.
